This Cookie Policy explains how KRRASS uses cookies and similar technologies to deliver and secure the website, load product media, understand site performance, measure campaigns, and support visitor choices.
Overview
Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, local storage, session storage, server logs, device identifiers, and identifiers used by browsers, analytics tools, video players, advertising platforms, CDN services, and security services.
KRRASS uses these technologies for practical website purposes: making pages load correctly, protecting the site from abuse, remembering limited choices, loading product images and videos, measuring page performance, understanding which products visitors are interested in, and measuring advertising or lead-generation activity where permitted.
Some technologies are set by KRRASS or our website infrastructure. Others are set by third-party providers when their tools are enabled, when a tag manager loads them, or when you interact with embedded content such as YouTube video players.
Technologies covered
| Technology | What it does | Typical use on KRRASS pages |
|---|---|---|
| Cookies | Store small identifiers or preferences in your browser. | Security checks, load balancing, consent or preference records, analytics, and advertising measurement. |
| Pixels and tags | Send event information when a page, form, ad, or message is viewed or clicked. | Campaign measurement, conversion reporting, remarketing, and email engagement if used. |
| Local or session storage | Store limited browser-side data for a page or browser session. | Interface preferences, temporary state, or feature behavior where needed. |
| Server logs | Record technical request information when your browser requests a page or asset. | Security, debugging, traffic analysis, CDN delivery, and incident investigation. |
| Embedded media identifiers | Support video playback or third-party media features. | YouTube playback and KRRASS-hosted product media delivery. |
Cookie categories
We group cookies and similar technologies by their main purpose. A provider may support more than one purpose, so classification can depend on how the tool is configured on a specific page.
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Can be disabled? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Deliver the site, route traffic, keep sessions secure, prevent abuse, remember privacy choices, and protect forms or embedded pages. | Cloudflare security and bot protection, load balancing, basic server logs, consent or privacy-choice records. | Not through site controls. You may block them in your browser, but the site may not work correctly. |
| Functional | Remember choices or enable optional website functions. | Language or region preference, form convenience settings, UI state, embedded media preferences where available. | Yes, where they are non-essential. Some optional features may stop working. |
| Analytics and performance | Measure traffic, errors, page speed, visitor paths, device types, and product-page performance. | Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, Cloudflare analytics, performance logs. | Yes, where required by law or where browser, provider, or consent controls are available. |
| Media and embedded content | Load videos, images, downloads, and product media from KRRASS or third-party platforms. | YouTube embeds; media.krrass.com images and videos delivered through Cloudflare/R2/CDN services. | Partly. Blocking third-party cookies or media domains may stop videos, images, or downloads from loading. |
| Marketing and advertising | Measure campaigns, conversions, ad performance, and remarketing audiences. | Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Google conversion tags, related advertising identifiers. | Yes, where consent, opt-out, browser, or provider controls are available. |
Services we may use
The exact cookies, identifiers, and providers may change as we maintain the website, update hosting, test performance, or adjust marketing tools. The main service categories expected for this project are:
| Service | Purpose | Information that may be processed |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | CDN, caching, security, bot protection, load balancing, image transformation, media delivery, and analytics. | IP address, request headers, URLs, timestamps, security signals, device/browser data, and related traffic data. |
| KRRASS media delivery | Load product images, videos, downloads, certification images, and other KRRASS media from media.krrass.com. | Technical request data needed to deliver files, optimize formats, and debug loading problems. |
| Google Analytics 4 | Understand page views, events, device type, approximate geography, traffic source, and engagement. | Online identifiers, page/event data, browser data, approximate location, and campaign information. |
| Google Tag Manager | Manage analytics, advertising, conversion, and other tags according to site configuration and consent settings. | Tag firing data and information collected by the specific tags loaded through it. |
| Google Ads | Measure campaigns, conversions, ad performance, audience building, and remarketing where enabled and permitted. | Advertising identifiers, conversion events, page interactions, campaign data, and approximate location. |
| Microsoft Clarity | Session behavior analytics, heatmaps, interaction recordings, diagnostics, and performance insights if enabled. | Page interactions, device/browser data, approximate location, performance events, and diagnostic signals. |
| YouTube | Embedded video playback and related video features. | Device, browser, playback, interaction, and usage information under Google/YouTube policies. |
We do not maintain a public cookie-by-cookie inventory on this page because provider cookies can change without a code change by KRRASS. This Policy instead describes the categories, purposes, providers, and choices that matter most to website visitors.
First-party and third-party cookies
First-party cookies are associated with KRRASS website domains. Third-party cookies are associated with another provider's domain, such as a video, analytics, advertising, CDN, monitoring, or social platform.
Third-party providers may use cookies or similar technologies to provide their services, measure performance, prevent abuse, or personalize content and advertising under their own policies. We do not control every cookie that a third-party service may set when you interact with that service.
Embedded media and product assets
KRRASS pages may include YouTube videos and KRRASS-hosted media such as product images, machine videos, brochures, certification images, and other files. Media hosted on media.krrass.com is generally used to display our own content quickly and reliably through CDN and storage services.
YouTube is a third-party platform. Depending on how a video is embedded and how you interact with it, YouTube may set cookies or collect playback, device, and usage information. Some videos may not load until you open or play the video.
If you block third-party cookies, privacy extensions, JavaScript, YouTube domains, or KRRASS media domains, some videos, images, downloads, or interactive features may not load correctly.
Analytics and advertising
Analytics technologies help us understand how visitors use pages, which product families receive interest, whether pages load correctly, and whether site changes improve the visitor experience. Reports are generally used in aggregated form.
Advertising technologies, if enabled, may help measure whether an ad, search result, campaign, or referral led to a quote request or other website interaction. They may also support remarketing or audience measurement where permitted by law and subject to consent where required.
Like many companies, making online identifiers or browsing activity available to advertising providers may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising activity under some privacy laws. Where those laws apply, we provide or honor the choices required by law.
Retention and changes
Cookie retention varies by cookie type and provider. Some cookies last only for a browsing session. Others may remain for a set period so they can remember preferences, measure repeat visits, prevent abuse, or support analytics and advertising.
Server logs, security logs, analytics records, consent records, and advertising records may be retained for different periods depending on security, debugging, reporting, compliance, and business needs. Aggregated or de-identified reports may be retained for longer.
Your choices
Browser controls
Most browsers let you delete cookies, block third-party cookies, block all cookies, clear local storage, or set site-specific permissions. If you block all cookies, the website may lose preferences, embedded media may fail, forms may behave differently, and some security checks may not work correctly.
Consent and site controls
Where a cookie banner, preference center, or privacy-choice control is available, you can use it to accept, reject, or adjust non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled through those controls because they are needed to deliver and secure the site.
If a consent tool is not displayed in your region or browser session, you can still use browser controls, provider-level controls, or contact us with questions.
Provider-level controls
You may also use controls provided by Google, Microsoft Clarity, YouTube, Cloudflare, your browser, your device, or industry advertising opt-out tools. These controls are managed by the relevant provider and may differ by region.
Do Not Track and global privacy signals
Some browsers offer Do Not Track or global privacy signals. Because there is no single global technical standard that applies to every signal, our response may vary by region, legal requirement, and the tools active on the site. Where applicable law requires honoring a supported opt-out preference signal, we will do so.
Related privacy information
Cookies and similar technologies may involve personal information such as online identifiers, IP address, approximate location, device information, page events, campaign data, and form interaction events. Our Privacy Policy explains how KRRASS collects, uses, shares, transfers, retains, and protects personal information more generally.
Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove tools, change consent controls, update providers, change website features, or change how the website uses cookies and similar technologies. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
